Celebrating Life

At Good Mournings, we take care of every detail, from planning and coordination to catering and setup, our team ensures that each moment unfolds seamlessly. We believe no one should have to balance grief with logistics. We handle every element with care and intention so your focus can be on your guests. These gatherings are about more than organization; they are about honouring lives with comfort and presence. By offering a full range of services, we create space for families and friends to be present for what truly matters: remembering, connecting, and celebrating life.

Meet Our Team

Chef Kevin Conway

For over two decades I have dedicated myself to shaping my approach to food through experience, curiosity, and respect for the craft. As the former owner of Jack Ketch, and with time spent at renowned restaurants such as The Whalesbone and Riviera, I have learned that great cooking is as much about people as it is about ingredients.

At Good Mournings, I bring that same philosophy to every event. My role is to create food that comforts, connects, and compliments each gathering. Our menus are thoughtful, balanced, and true to the moment. Whether preparing an intimate family meal or a large celebration of life, I approach each individual menu with care, precision, and the belief that food has the power to bring people together in meaningful ways.

Natalie Sole

As the Event Coordinator and in-house End of Life Doula, I bring over two decades of experience in service and event coordination. My background has taught me the importance of presence, empathy, and attention to detail. These are qualities that guide every gathering I help create.

My work as an End of Life Doula deepens my understanding of how people process, connect, and find comfort in shared moments. It allows me to approach each celebration of life with sensitivity and purpose, ensuring that every element reflects the person being honoured. I aim to create spaces where families and friends can gather with ease, supported by thoughtful planning and genuine care.

This work is not simply about organizing events, it is about creating moments of meaning and beauty in the midst of loss, offering families the comfort of knowing their loved one’s life has been honoured with care, attention and love.

Our Vendors

At Good Mournings, we believe that every detail matters — and that includes the people we partner with. We are proud to source from local growers, artisans, and creators whose care and craftsmanship elevate each experience we offer. From thoughtfully chosen wines through Buyers + Cellars , to Les Beignes de Shima’s handmade treats, Sparrow Floral artful arrangements, and the fresh harvests of Terramor Farms, each collaboration reflects our commitment to quality and community. By working closely with local vendors, we ensure that every gathering we create is infused with authenticity, warmth, and a true sense of place.
